What information is processed?

CoffeeJay provides coffee information, recipes and machine selections. The finder uses answers in the URL to display a recommendation; do not enter personal information. Your browser stores privacy and country preferences. Hosting and external providers may receive technical request data such as an IP address. The exact hosting processing and retention still need confirmation.

Country, language and privacy region

For automatic country selection, your browser may contact ipwho.is. This provider receives your IP address; CoffeeJay requests only the country code and stores it in the browser session. A server or CDN may replace this lookup later. Your manual selection takes precedence. VPNs and other networks can give an incorrect country. If detection fails, optional tracking remains off; the language version falls back to English/US.

Optional services and consent

Analytics, marketing, personalisation and external media are off by default. Google Analytics 4 measures website usage only after you consent to Analytics. Google may process page views, browser and device information and set _ga cookies. Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Clarity are not active, and no external video embeds are placed. New purposes or material changes require an updated notice and, where needed, a fresh choice.

Your choices and rights

You can refuse or withdraw optional consent using Privacy settings in each page footer. Global Privacy Control keeps marketing and personalisation off. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction and object to processing. Contact info@wi4.nl for these requests. You may also complain to the relevant regulator, such as the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the UK ICO.

Purposes, legal bases and transfers

Country and privacy preferences support the website functions you use. Optional services are permitted only after your choice. The responsible organisation must establish the legal bases for hosting, provider agreements and any transfers outside the EEA/UK. This page does not provide a legal guarantee.
